Memorial Exhibits
The Doughboy Memorial located in the Herrin City Park is a symbol of freedom and remembrance of those who fought for our land. The Doughboy, previously at the Herrin City Park, was recently moved to a location downtown. Miner's Memorial The Southern Illinois Miner’s Memorial, located downtown at the corner of Cherry Street and 14th Street, pays tribute to all Southern Illinois Coal Miners of the past century. The memorial was made possible through generous donations of citizens and friends of Herrin. back |
